Individual Volunteering
This could be at a time that suits you or you could join one of our ‘Service Teams’ or ‘Events Team’.
Tasks include:
- Helping Check in and out visiting groups.
- Joining the fundraising team.
- Maintaining shrub areas.
- Pruning trees.
- Exterior painting.
- Maintaining the reed bed.
- General clearing.
- Weeding and turning the ‘comfort bark’ in the assault areas.
- Breaking up wood pallets and storing for the campers.
We advertise Volunteer Days throughout the year on our social media channels and our website.
Community Volunteering Days by Companies
We are delighted to have formed great partnerships with companies since Willow Tree first opened who have supported us in many ways. Volunteer Days is a great way to carry out a valuable ‘Service to the Community’. As a company so much is achieved with staff bonding as well as having fun and supporting Willow Tree. We welcome any help as the site is run purely by volunteers, we do not have any paid staff. You could volunteer for a whole day or just an afternoon or morning session.
Heathrow Airport, Molendez, British Airways, Coca Cola, GlaxoSmithKline, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Nationwide Building Society are some of the few companies who have supported us over the years.
